‘Cars & Movies’

The Hague Film Festival is open for submissions

The Hague Film Festival invites all film and video makers to submit
their work for the 4th edition of our event. We’re looking for both upcoming talents as established makers to send in their work in one of
our eight categories ranging from feature film to music video and from
documentary to vlog. With its wide variety of categories, the festival
aims to showcase the broad spectrum of film and video creation today.
There are two new categories added to this year’s edition: one
‘International’ is for all the entries that are submitted by
international filmmaker and the second one ‘Pandemic Chronicles’ are all
the films/videos/docu’/animation etc.  portraying the pandemic, we are
currently enduring.

This year the festival will take place at Louwman Museum in which we will combine our love of movies & cars.  Creating an immersive festival program revolving around this year’s theme ‘Cars & Movies’. 

Prior to the festival, all nominated films will be screened at HYF for six weeks.

Submit your movie

Films can be submitted in one of the 8 categories, which will be
assessed by a carefully selected jury of industry people.

Short (< 60 min.)
Documentary
Vlog
Animation
Music Video
Foreign film
Pandemic Chronicles

Send us a link to your video work before the 30th of June using the submission form. 

Foreign Film: All entrees that come outside from EU
Pandemic Chronicles:  Are films that portrait the current pandemic.

The deadline for sending entries is: 30 June 2021

Nominees will be announced: 16 July 2021

Festival will be at: 27th of August
